Partners from education, employability and community organisations came together to discuss future skills gaps, careers advice and the growing importance of meaningful information, advice and guidance supported by accurate labour market intelligence.
The discussions highlighted the need for stronger collaboration between training providers, employers, community organisations and support services to help ensure individuals are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed for future employment opportunities across the region.
Contributions came from Sue Price of Coleg Cambria, Tony McCafferty from HMP Berwyn, Karen Long from Communities for Work Plus and Shauni Thomas from Caia Park Partnership Ltd.
Special thanks were also given to John Burton from Inside Connections, who delivered a thought-provoking session to a group of Jobs Growth Wales learners at Caia Park Partnership Ltd, encouraging discussion around employability, opportunity and personal development.
